Thursday was Grandparents Day. Lots of Grandparents came and visited their grand children’s classes. All the school then went out to the yard. We spelled out the word FRIENDS. We were very lucky as we were given great performances. Ellen’s grandad Matt played the Harmonica for us. This was followed by Katelyn and Alex’s grandad singing the Elvis Presley song ‘Love me tender,’ and Hayley and Katie’s Granny sang ‘The Rose.’ Sean, Ava and Laura’s Granny sang ‘My Irish Molly.’
The whole school sang ‘Molly Malone,’ for the Grandparents. It was a great afternoon.
