Today 4th class went on a school tour. We went to the National History Museum of Ireland and the Natural History Museum. We went on the 150 bus. We saw lots of houses and people.
At last we arrived to the Natural History Museum. There were loads of animals like sharks, wolves, deers and other animals. It was really fun but then it was time to go to the National History Museum where we were going to learn about the Vikings.
We saw a real chalice from the Viking times. Then we saw a Viking skeleton and bones with a sword. It was so cool. We saw a real viking sword and axe. It was cool. And we saw a real Viking coin and gold. There was this red rock called amber and we got to hold it. It was not as heavy as we thought it was.
We went into a room ans we got to blow a horn and wear a helmet. We got to walk around the museum then looking at armour and a slideshow about the Vikings.
Then we went to the Poddle where Dublin got its name in Dublin Castle. We were playing on the garden where it used to be. Then we had to go home on the 150 bus.
If you ever go to this museum, I hope you have a good time as me.
