Overview

St Damian's is a co-educational vertical (junior infants-6th class) primary school. It was opened in 1970 and is situated in Perrystown, Dublin 12.

Our average annual enrolment is in the region of 250 students all of whom live in the surrounding community.

St.Damian's is a Catholic school under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin. However, we have pupils of many faiths other than Catholicism, and pupils of no faith. We regard very highly the values of justice equality and fairness in the school.

We have nine mainstream classes and three support teachers. Our staff are highly motivated and have a wide range of experiences, talents and special interests. They work as a team to prepare, plan and deliver a high quality education to our pupils.

Parents are kept informed of their children's progress by several methods: Parent-teacher meetings are held in the first term of each year; each child receives an end-of-year report. Parents or teachers may request a meeting if they have a concern about a child.

There is a Montessori pre-school, Clever Clogs, attached to the school (Manager Linda Kiernan contact no 086 84 88 317).

If you are interested in applying for a place in St.Damian's, or would like to organise a visit to the school, please contact us. Use our contact form and we will respond to you. Alternatively, you can call us on (00353 1) 4508932.
